Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who:

  • Have a genuine passion for helping others

  • Are compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful

  • Enjoy building meaningful relationships with seniors

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care

  • Can work independently while remaining part of a collaborative care team

Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but we value kindness, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Caregiver Responsibilities

As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you'll help clients maintain their independence and enjoy a higher quality of life by providing compassionate, personalized care.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support

  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:

    • Personal hygiene and grooming

    • Dressing

    • Bathing

    • Toileting assistance

    • Walking and mobility support

    • Meal preparation and feeding assistance

  • Light housekeeping and laundry

  • Medication reminders

  • Transportation to appointments or errands (when applicable)

  • Engaging clients in conversation, hobbies, games, and meaningful activities

  • Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team and office staff

  • Maintaining accurate communication with family members and supervisors
