Location: Wyoming, MI
Shift: 1st Shift 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Pay: $17.00 + per hour based on experience
Job SummaryAre you a motivated and dependable individual looking to grow your skills in a hands-on environment? We’re seeking a General Laborer to join our team in Wyoming, MI. In this role, you’ll assist in the fabrication, packaging, and preparation of acrylic and plastic materials while supporting daily production operations.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Preparing plastic materials using basic fabrication skills
- Packaging and palletizing finished products
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, both indoors and outdoors
- Assisting with outdoor property maintenance (mowing, weeding, light landscaping)
- Reading and responding to work-related emails as needed
- Supporting other warehouse and fabrication tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of warehouse experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift 35–50 lbs consistently
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift (9 hours per day)
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16" (decimal or fraction)
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Great attendance record and reliability
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication; ability to speak English as a primary or secondary language
