This role bridges Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Management by transforming complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.The ideal candidate has exceptional writing and editing skills, enjoys learning technical products, and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create customer-facing and internal documentation. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our products are supported by high-quality manuals, work instructions, technical literature, and marketing content that enhances the customer experience and supports operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesTechnical DocumentationCreate, edit, and maintain equipment operation, installation, maintenance, and safety manualsDevelop technical documentation that complies with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practicesTranslate complex engineering concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand instructions for customers and internal teamsManage document revisions and version control to ensure all documentation remains accurate and up to dateEngineering & Manufacturing SupportCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams to gather technical informationDevelop manufacturing work instructions, assembly procedures, testing documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Assist with documentation for new product introductions, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure documentation accurately reflects product design and manufacturing processesMarketing & Sales ContentSupport the marketing team by developing technical product literature, specification sheets, product comparison guides, FAQs, and website contentPartner with marketing to ensure technical accuracy across brochures, presentations, product pages, videos, and other customer-facing materialsHelp communicate product features, benefits, and applications in language appropriate for target audiencesDocumentation ManagementMaintain documentation libraries, templates, style guides, and document control systemsEnsure consistency in formatting, terminology, branding, and technical standards across all documentationRecommend process improvements that increase documentation efficiency and qualityOther Duties as AssignedUltraSource is a growing, entrepreneurial organization where team members are encouraged to be adaptable and contribute beyond their primary responsibilities when needed.
