Job Description
Description:

See Your Future in Our Future. As an independent systems integrator, InflexionPoint, LLC specializes in process control, manufacturing intelligence, cyber security, and industrial networking. InflexionPoint provides services and solutions from initial requirements definition and system design through the implementation and commissioning of plant-wide systems. The cornerstone of our commitment to building long-term relationships with our customers is making every interaction an outstanding experience. At each step we strive to create lasting relationships built on quality, service, and responsiveness.

InflexionPoint is currently seeking a proactive and resourceful Inside Sales Support Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will focus on supporting Account Executives in the development and progression of qualified opportunities while independently managing smaller project-based deals and annual recurring revenue (ARR) opportunities, including renewals, support agreements, and other service offerings. This role is essential in ensuring the sales team has strong day-to-day deal support, consistent follow-up, and reliable execution across both transactional opportunities and recurring revenue streams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Account Executive Support and Small Deal/ARR Opportunity Coordination

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to support active opportunities through research, outreach, meeting coordination, follow-up, and next-step management.
  • Independently manage smaller project opportunities from qualification through close, including standard proposals, pricing coordination, and customer follow-up.
  • Own defined ARR opportunities such as software renewals, service renewals, support contracts, and other recurring service offerings.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts for add-on services, subscriptions, and lower-complexity project work, coordinating with Account Executives when broader account strategy is involved.
  • Prepare internal handoff notes, customer summaries, and supporting materials that enable Account Executives to focus on larger and more complex deals.

Lead Follow-Up and Qualification

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads, qualifying opportunities based on fit, urgency, budget, and business need.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting in support of Account Executives and marketing initiatives, such as campaigns.
  • Apply consistent qualification standards to determine whether opportunities should remain with inside sales or be elevated to an Account Executive.

Proposal and Quote Support

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, renewal documents, and related commercial materials using approved templates and pricing guidance.
  • Coordinate with sales leadership, operations, and technical resources to ensure proposals are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer requirements.
  • Track proposal status and follow up with prospects and customers to keep opportunities moving toward close.

Sales Process Optimization

  • Update and maintain Zoho CRM data to provide accurate and actionable insight into pipeline activity, renewal timing, and smaller deal progression.
  • Ensure all assigned opportunities include clear notes, next steps, close dates, revenue classification, and stakeholder information.
  • Support sales process discipline by maintaining task follow-up, quote tracking, and deal stage accuracy across assigned opportunities.

Performance Insights and Reporting

  • Track performance against goals related to smaller closed-won projects, renewals, service offerings, and ARR growth.
  • Provide regular updates to sales leadership and Account Executives on renewal status, active follow-up items, forecasted close timing, and at-risk opportunities.
  • Help identify patterns in win rates, renewal outcomes, and service demand to support strategic decision-making and process improvement.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Delivery, to ensure smooth coordination from opportunity development through booking and handoff.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure renewals and recurring service opportunities are proactively identified and managed in advance of expiration dates.
Requirements:

Education, Certifications and Experience

  • Experience in technology, industrial automation, software services, or AI-related industries is a strong plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, business development, account coordination, or related roles.
  • Experience supporting Account Executives, service-related offerings, and managing transactional or lower-complexity deals in a B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools such as Teams/SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple customer and internal follow-up items simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to take on diverse responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities.

This role is a critical partner to the sales team, helping Account Executives focus on larger strategic pursuits while ensuring smaller project opportunities, renewals, and recurring service revenue are consistently managed and closed.
