The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for a Rental Coordinator to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating equipment rentals within an assigned territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As a Rental Coordinator for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage internal and external rentals requests within a designated territory
  • Partner with internal Service department employees to prioritize shop items
  • Support Sales Representatives with current customers and manage key account relationships over the phone; ensure leads are captured and monitor fleet utilization
  • Administer contracts and monitor billing of machinery on rentals
  • Manage quoting and territory market changes

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • 1 to 3 years of related work experience in a sales or a customer service environment
  • Post-secondary education in business, sales, operations, or a related discipline
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently

The base pay for this role is: $50,000 to $56,000 per year depending on experience, plus bonuses.

This is an onsite role based in Austin, Texas.
