About This Role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Lead Child Care Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. With your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and supports each child's unique growth journey. As the Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in leading by example, collaborating with dedicated staff, and positively impacting the lives of children and families.



What You'll Do

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of toddlers through preschool-aged children.
  • Conduct inclusive classroom activities that support early intervention, special education needs, and behavior management strategies.
  • Create lessons that assess and support individual student progress, promoting continuous growth and development.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment through effective classroom management skills.
  • Establish strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and team members to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and welfare needs effectively.
  • Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high standards of childcare quality and a positive classroom experience.
  • Keep detailed records of lesson plans, child assessments, behavior reports, and other documentation necessary for compliance and continuous improvement.


Requirements

Requirements

  • Must have experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as licensed daycare or preschool environments.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED.
  • Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
