Afternoon Lead Caregiver - Group Family Daycare

Little Beans is a well-regarded home family daycare servicing families of children aged two and under located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We are seeking an afternoon lead caregiver to join our community of early childcare professionals, friends, and families. This is a great opportunity for early childhood educators, students, and those looking to continue their career in education!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Head Teacher with daily activities assigned throughout the day
• Interacting, supporting, and working with children and families
• Helping to establish a mutually respectful and productive classroom environment
• Participating in school meetings
• Engage in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Can work Monday - Friday from 3pm-6pm
• Have at least 2 years of childcare experience/working with children under the age of 2
• Have an Associate's degree in progress or achieved; concentration in Education or related field strongly preferred
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Be team-oriented, energetic, creative, and nurturing
• Have excellent attendance and punctuality
• Enjoys working with infant/toddler population
