What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and support daily production activities to ensure production goals are achieved
- Provide hands-on assistance to associates as needed throughout the shift
- Train and mentor new employees on safety, quality, and production procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
- Assist with production setup and teardown activities
- Perform quality audits and inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products
- Complete inspection documentation and quality records accurately
- Ensure nonconforming materials are handled according to established procedures
- Promote and enforce safety standards, workplace policies, and company procedures
- Monitor housekeeping standards and maintain an organized work environment
- Serve as a communication link between production associates and supervisors
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate and guide team members in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency and accurate documentation skills
- Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous leadership or team lead experience
- Experience performing quality inspections and audits
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 and/or ISO 14001 requirements
- Blueprint reading experience is a plus
