Floor Technician Responsibilities:

• All Floor Techs must be cross-trained in housekeeping and laundry in order to fill in when necessary.
• Must be available to prepare resident rooms upon discharge or admissions and pull trash twice during the shift.
• Scrub floors to remove all soil and finish the base of floor material. Remove splash marks from baseboards, walls, and doors.
• Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and reports the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures. Assist in maintaining main housekeeping storage in a clean manner.

Floor Technician Requirements:

• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
• Ability to communicate effectively
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
