Job Type: Full-Time/On-Call

Job Description:
Discovery Years is seeking reliable and passionate Substitute Teachers to support our early childhood education programs. This position provides a great opportunity for educators who enjoy working with children and have flexible availability. Substitute Teachers will step in as needed to ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Follow lesson plans and classroom routines provided by the lead teacher.
• Supervise and engage with children in a positive and supportive manner.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Active Subtitiue Teaching Certificate
• Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
