General Laborer (Buda, TX 78610)

AHI Supply is looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our Buda team. This is a hands-on position responsible for supporting daily yard operations, preparing steel materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Successful candidates take pride in their work, follow directions, and are willing to learn new skills.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 6:30 am - 4:00 pm or until all work is completed
• Overtime available
• Must be available to work Saturdays as business needs require

What You'll Do

• Operate spray gun to paint steel products and materials
• Operate equipment to cut angle iron, steel, and other products
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the yard
• Wrap, stage, and prepare customer and delivery orders
• Assist with loading customer vehicles and delivery trucks
• Maintain inventory organization throughout the yard
• Read work orders and follow production instructions
• Perform general yard maintenance, including sweeping, cleanup, and housekeeping
• Safely operate hand tools and basic material handling equipment
• Complete required paperwork accurately
• Report damaged materials, equipment concerns, or safety hazards immediately
• Follow all OSHA and company safety policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, or construction experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, lift, and work outdoors throughout the day
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment
