New Locums OB opening in Maryland

  • Specialty:
    • OB/GYN
  • Coverage Needs:
    • ASAP - Ongoing
    • Looking for Per Diem coverage monthly
  • Shifts:
    • 24-hour shifts up to 12 per month ongoing
    • 8am-8am
  • Call:
    • Call is 24 Hour In-House (can do from local hotel)
  • Setting:
    • Labor and Delivery Floor
    • Will have Midwife on call and additional MD support if needed
  • Census:
    • Roughly 170 deliveries per month
  • Procedures:
    • Must cover all typicalOB/GYN procedures including unassigned delivieries
    • Assisting with c-sections
    • CoveringOBtriage visits in ER department
    • Delivery assistance
    • Must be comfortable with bothOBand Gyn procedures/surgeries
  • EMR:
    • Epic
  • Board Certification:
    • BC required
  • Travel:
    • Hospital will cover
  • Credentialing timeline:
    • 60 days for full privileges
    • Temps available
  • Requirements:
    • Active Marylandlicense (or will license)
    • Active MD DEA or willing to transfer
    • ACLS
    • NRP
