New York Congregational Nursing Center is now hiring a Dietary Aide. Salary: up to $18 an hour

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide:
- Assist in identified aspects of food preparation.
- Handle food and equipment responsibly according to sanitation policies and procedures
- Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas as instructed by supervisor.
- Provide an enhanced dining service, serving meals in dining rooms and preparing and delivering snacks as directed.
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Dietary Aide:
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- Must have experience working in a healthcare facility, 1 year preferred.
- Must have experience working a tray line, 1 year preferred.
- Ability to follow diet lists, portion food as specified and serve food in an appetizing manner.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Salary: up to $18 an hour
