\tThe Client C-17 Avionics & Flight Controls (AVFC) team is seeking a C-17 Project Integration Engineer to perform Integration activities in support of current and future development programs.
\tThis position reports to the Avionics Capability Delivery Manager for the AVFC organization. A key attribute of this position is the ability to accomplish assigned engineering integration tasks under minimal instruction, and articulate both progress and help needed across geographically diverse teams. Areas of execution could include avionics development, software testing, verification & validation, and technical publications. Successful candidates can drive successful outcomes through understanding the responsibilities, tasks and products of various engineering departments/disciplines, the interaction between them, and how their products/processes affect one another
\tThe successful Integrator possesses a wide range of project management, engineering, organizational, and communication skills. This includes the ability to build a successful multi-disciplined team to plan/organize/execute in alignment with the organization's project schedules. They interact with internal and external customers, proactively seeking information to understand customers' circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs. Developing an understanding of the products and processes to visualize challenges as or before they arise, and the maturity to develop mitigation plans, is essential to success in this position. Success for Integration is graded by ability to drive generation of the project's products, from requirements through validation, and becoming prepared for delivery without adverse effect to the planned fielding date.
\tThis position is expected to be 100% onsite at the Client location in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Responsibilities:

\tDefinition of Support System elements and schedules down to the part number / book number.
\tEnsuring Support System elements are complete and correct in support of Fielding Certification Board (FCB).
\tIdentification and coordination of work products required for downstream effort, ensuring requisite data is identified, complete, accurate and provided on time with updates controlled and communicated in a timely fashion.
\tMaintaining and providing accurate and up to date status on progress, issues and resolutions on support system elements.
\tPlanning, coordinating, and conducting Support Systems Requirements/Readiness Reviews as a part of the overall integration effort.
\tEnsuring accurate representation with internal organizations and the customer.
\tFostering a team culture representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
\tLeading project integration to ensure all groups execute the work statement to a common schedule.
\tWorking under minimum direction.
\tBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
\tBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or other STEM field of study
\t7+ years' experience with project management or engineering integration within complex development programs.
\t3+ years of project scheduling experience.
\tExcellent written and verbal skills.
\tExperience working with members of various departments and teams for a common goal.
\tPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
\tExperience in Project Engineering / Project Integration.
\tAvionics Project Integration or Project Engineering experience.
\tAvionics software development experience.
\tFamiliarity with USAF Technical Orders.
\tFamiliarity with USAF Support Equipment.
\tExperience/understanding in development and delivery of logistics support elements.
\tOrganizational/team building skills.
\tAbility to perform project planning/execution.
\tAptitude to remain politely persistent while achieving results.

Education / Experience:

\tEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
