Host Hostess

Caprianos Italian Cuisine in Salisbury, NC is looking for one host/hostess/cashier to join our 20 person strong team. We are located on 231 Faith Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers entering and leaving the business and making them feel welcome
• You'll be the first face our guests see, so you must have a Pleasing People attitude
• You will be responsible for greeting guests and seating them promptly, cheerfully, and courteously
• Smile & have genuine conversations with Guests
• Estimating wait time for guests. Coordinate the wait and seat Guests with a sense of urgency
• You will make each Guest’s day better with friendly, prompt, and attentive service
• Duties of this position include seating guests, answering the phone, taking, entering, and packaging To-Go orders
• Clearing and Resetting tables for our guests
• Roll Silverware
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Accurately process all cash and credit payments
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Working together as a team to deliver a great Caprianos experience for our Guests
• Make memorable first and last impressions

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the US
• All Hosts must be at least 16 years of age or older
• You must be able to understand and carry out instructions while working effectively with co-workers and managers to please our guests
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Strong organizational and motivational skills
• Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service
• Basic mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A qualified applicant must be able to lift 25-50 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, and occasionally use motion which entails pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
