A growing, nationally recognized organization is seeking an IT Manager to take ownership of its technology environment and help shape its next phase of growth. This is a high-visibility opportunity to make a real impact across the business by modernizing systems, improving processes, and leveraging emerging technologies.

This is not a traditional “keep the lights on” IT role. The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT leader who enjoys solving problems, implementing new technology, improving workflows, and turning ideas into action.

What You’ll Do

  • Own day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, systems, security, and software.
  • Lead technology implementations, integrations, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve business efficiency.
  • Manage IT vendors, software licenses, contracts, and relationships.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, network, and systems issues.
  • Partner directly with business leaders to identify technology needs and develop solutions.
  • Drive automation and process improvements, including opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies.
  • Establish strong security, access, onboarding/offboarding, and IT infrastructure standards.
  • Lead projects from concept through implementation and adoption.
  • Help build and scale the IT function as the organization continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems, or a related area.
  • Experience managing IT projects and implementing technology across an organization.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, security, systems administration, cloud technologies, and business applications.
  • Experience evaluating technology solutions and managing vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • A hands-on, ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to operate strategically while still getting into the details.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Bonus Points For

  • AWS and/or Microsoft Azure experience
  • AI tools such as Claude
  • IT ticketing systems and workflow automation
  • Software integrations, migrations, or system consolidation
  • Professional services or law firm experience
  • QuickBooks, Box, or practice management systems

Why Join?

  • High-impact role with direct visibility to senior leadership
  • Opportunity to shape IT strategy and build out the function
  • Significant opportunity to drive AI, automation, and technology modernization
  • Growing organization with plans to expand the IT team
  • Competitive compensation with flexibility based on experience
