Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite
Compensation: $75,000–$130,000

About the Opportunity
A growing, nationally recognized organization is seeking an IT Manager to take ownership of its technology environment and help shape its next phase of growth. This is a high-visibility opportunity to make a real impact across the business by modernizing systems, improving processes, and leveraging emerging technologies.
This is not a traditional “keep the lights on” IT role. The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT leader who enjoys solving problems, implementing new technology, improving workflows, and turning ideas into action.
What You’ll Do
- Own day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, systems, security, and software.
- Lead technology implementations, integrations, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve business efficiency.
- Manage IT vendors, software licenses, contracts, and relationships.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, network, and systems issues.
- Partner directly with business leaders to identify technology needs and develop solutions.
- Drive automation and process improvements, including opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies.
- Establish strong security, access, onboarding/offboarding, and IT infrastructure standards.
- Lead projects from concept through implementation and adoption.
- Help build and scale the IT function as the organization continues to grow.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems, or a related area.
- Experience managing IT projects and implementing technology across an organization.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, security, systems administration, cloud technologies, and business applications.
- Experience evaluating technology solutions and managing vendors.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- A hands-on, ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to operate strategically while still getting into the details.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Bonus Points For
- AWS and/or Microsoft Azure experience
- AI tools such as Claude
- IT ticketing systems and workflow automation
- Software integrations, migrations, or system consolidation
- Professional services or law firm experience
- QuickBooks, Box, or practice management systems
