Caregiver

Job Summary:

Home Matters of North Denver, a leading provider of in-home care services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support to clients in their homes, helping them with daily activities, safety, and comfort. Responsibilities:

• Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

• Support safe mobility and transfers

• Give medication reminders (no medication handling)

• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, and basic safety checks

• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement

• Escort clients to appointments or outings as listed in the care plan

• Report any changes in condition to your supervisor or RN

• Protect client privacy (HIPAA)

• Follow infection control and safety procedures

• Complete orientation, annual training, and Nurse Guided Care education

Qualifications:

• 21+ years old

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience

• Strong English communication skills

• Able to pass all background and reference checks

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift

• Reliable transportation

• Willing to attend required in-person trainings/meetings at our Brighton, CO office

• Able to travel 15-50 miles each way to client homes in Brighton, Commerce City, or Thornton
