Direct Support Professional - Jaffrey & Keene

Seeking Enthusiastic Direct Support Professional (DSP) – 18 Hours/Week We are seeking a reliable, high-energy DSP to support an active individual in reaching his exercise, employment, and socialization goals. The individual lives in Jaffrey, but all scheduled community activities take place in Keene. Job DetailsSchedule: Monday through Thursday, 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM.Hours: 18 hours per week.Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on experience).Location: Starts in Jaffrey, with daily activities in Keene.Key ResponsibilitiesActivity Support: Accompany and assist the individual during regularly scheduled activities.Fitness Coaching: Swimming at the YMCA and workouts with a personal trainer.Employment Coaching: Assist the individual at his regular volunteer job at the Salvation Army.Goal Achievement: Help discover new, creative ways to expand the individual's exercise, employment, and community socialization goals.About the IndividualLives in Jaffrey with his family and his beloved dog.Loves socializing, bowling, going out to lunch, and exploring new places.Enjoys browsing and visiting local thrift stores.RequirementsReliable vehicle.Enthusiastic, patient, and community-minded attitude.Experience in DSP role is a plus but not required.Pre-employment Background Check Requirements: Criminal records, motor vehicle record, Bureau of Adult and Aging Services (BAAS), Division of Child, Youth and Families (DCYF), Office of Inspector General (OIG)
