Pediatrician / Rural Health Clinic-Oregon
A hospital-employed Pediatrician opportunity is available in Northeast Oregon, offering a four-day workweek, schedule flexibility, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
This is a full-time, permanent outpatient position serving children in a rural health clinic and Tier 4 Patient-Centered Medical Home.
The practice includes four physicians and one nurse practitioner, with 1:1 medical support staff and a scribe available for providers averaging 15 or more patients per day.
The position offers competitive total compensation of $305,000+, RVU production incentives, quality incentives up to $30,000 annually, and a $40,000 commencement bonus.
The surrounding region offers extensive year-round outdoor recreation, including hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, boating, rock climbing, and access to alpine lakes and mountain recreation areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pediatric care in a rural health clinic setting.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients across a broad range of primary care needs.
- Manage preventive care, acute concerns, and ongoing pediatric conditions.
- Collaborate with four physicians and one nurse practitioner as part of the pediatric care team.
- Coordinate care with on-site behavioral health and laboratory services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation through Epic EMR.
- Participate in a shared 1:4 call rotation with the physician team.
- Support a patient-centered approach to pediatric care within a Tier 4 Patient-Centered Medical Home.
- Build long-term relationships with children and families in a rural community.

Minimum Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics
