Positional Overview
The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Closing Coordinator on behalf of our client, a leading full-service real estate organization serving homebuyers, sellers, and property owners throughout Western New York and beyond. With a strong local presence and extensive industry expertise, the organization provides comprehensive residential and commercial real estate services while building lasting relationships with clients and communities.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating real estate transactions from contract through closing, ensuring all documentation, deadlines, and requirements are completed accurately and on time. You will work closely with buyers, sellers, agents, attorneys, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth closing process, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service throughout the transaction.
Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success:
- Receive real estate commissions, make deposits and close sales
- Receive real estate escrow checks, make deposits/disbursements as needed and record activity
- Generate real estate commission invoices and distribute appropriately
- Communicate with branch administration, co-brokers and attorneys as needed for inquiries and to resolve discrepancies
- Record check deposits for ancillary companies daily and post corresponding journal entries
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Assist in entering Payables in a timely manner as needed
- Assist in Sales Processing as needed
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Follow accounting policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
- Associates degree in business related field, or equivalent experience
- At least one year of banking experience, including payment and deposit processing
- Some knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles helpful but not required
- Detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to handle conflict in a tactful, professional manner
