Bilingual Medical Assistant (Clinical & Front Office Support)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay:$21/hour–$23/hour

Location: Sarasota, FL


We’re hiring a Medical Assistant to support daily clinical and administrative operations in a busy outpatient setting. This role is safety-sensitive and includes direct patient care, medication administration, and front desk responsibilities. You'll report to the Office Manager and work closely with providers to ensure a positive patient experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients, gather medical history, and record vitals in EMR

  • Assist with exams, procedures, injections, and in-office testing

  • Draw blood, process specimens, and perform CLIA-waived lab tests

  • Provide patient education and support during visits

  • Clean and stock exam rooms; maintain medical supply inventory

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and check patients in/out

  • Document services and manage records accurately in the EMR

  • Assist with onboarding new staff and support other tasks as needed

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA)

  • At least 1 year of experience in a clinical MA role

  • CPR, IV start, and phlebotomy certifications preferred

  • Proficient in EMR, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

  • Reliable transportation required

Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs for prolonged periods

  • Manual dexterity and vision/hearing within normal range
