Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Director of Nursing to join our team at AdviniaCare Seashore Pointe in Provincetown, Massachusetts. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement nursing programs and activities to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained

• Develop and maintain written policies and procedures for the Nursing Department

• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care

• Participate in facility surveys and assist with quality assurance programs

• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure medications are being administered as ordered

• Provide direct nursing care as necessary

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license

• Current CPR Certification

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language

• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to a team-oriented work environment

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position

• Must meet general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
