Job Description
About This Role
Where leadership meets finger paint, and every day matters.
We’re looking for a confident, warm, and highly organized Preschool Head Teacher to lead our early childhood classroom with energy, creativity, and purpose. - Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Keep the classroom running smoothly (yes, even on glitter-heavy days)
- Observe and document student progress, and communicate it clearly with families
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for every child
What You Bring
- Experience in early childhood education (lead teaching experience strongly preferred)
- A deep understanding of child development and best practices
- Strong leadership skills—you can guide adults just as well as you guide little learners
- Patience, humor, and the ability to pivot when plans inevitably change
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Relevant degree and/or certifications (per state licensing requirements)
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Supportive team that values collaboration and creativity
- A classroom where your ideas are welcomed (and tested daily!)
- The chance to make a lasting impact during the most important years of development
- Plenty of moments that will make you laugh, think, and occasionally reach for more coffee
If you’re ready to lead with heart, inspire young minds, and embrace the beautiful chaos of preschool life, we’d love to meet you.
