Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: $18-$28/HR
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

TDL Staffing is seeking a friendly and motivated Home Heating Sales Specialist to join a fast-paced retail sales and service environment specializing in hearth and home heating products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning technical product information, and working in a customer-focused showroom environment.
In this role, you’ll assist customers with product selection, answer questions, coordinate deliveries and installations, and support day-to-day showroom operations. The right candidate will be dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable learning about a wide range of home heating and hearth products.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with product selection and questions
- Explain product features, uses, and advantages
- Set up and maintain customer information in company systems
- Schedule deliveries and installations
- Process payments and assist with sales transactions
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor
- Learn and retain technical knowledge related to products and services offered
Minimum Requirements
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and dependable work habits
- Ability to learn technical product information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Construction, heating, or wood stove experience is a plus
- Familiarity with computer systems and web-based product lookup tools preferred
- Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position
- Must support a drug-free work environment
