Quality/Risk RN Manager
Currently looking for an experienced Quality/Risk/Regulatory Healthcare Nurse Manager to fill an opening at an Acute Care Hospital in Central California. Interested candidates should have CPHQ, HCQM, or CPQPS. A current state license in the clinical field and 5+ years of quality management experience are preferred—certification in Healthcare Compliance must be obtained within one year of hire.
$131-170/year compensation.
Requirements of the Healthcare Manager of Quality/Risk/Compliance:

- Current state license in the clinical field and 5+ years of quality management experience is preferred

Responsibilities of the Quality/Risk/Regulatory Manager:
Works collaboratively with senior leadership, physicians, and staff to reduce risk and promote quality patient care and safety. This is accomplished through various assessment activities and process improvement actions through the monthly Quality/Patient Safety Committee/Committee of the whole or ad hoc meetings. Manages and coordinates efforts to ensure that quality management programs are
developed and managed using a data-driven focus and sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives. Ensures compliance with Federal healthcare program requirements and the facility’s risk management activities, which include coordinating insurance coverage and risk financing, managing claims against the facility, interfacing with defense legal counsel, administering the risk management program through management education programs, and complying with the Joint Commission's risk management standards, all with the objective of controlling and minimizing loss to protect the
assets of the facility.
