Lead Toddler Teacher – Early Childhood Education

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom routines for children ages 12–24 months
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities using the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Mentor assistant teachers and promote classroom consistency
- Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication
- Maintain compliance with New York State and NYC licensing requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, CDA accepted
- Candidates with 5+ years of classroom experience and a high school diploma will also be considered
- Previous toddler classroom experience preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and responsive caregiving
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
