WorkSolved Staffing is hiring for Material Handler on 1st Shift in the Walker area. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to handle materials and components accurately, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery. Responsibilities:
  1. Read and understand work orders and instructions accurately.
  2. Utilize strong organizational skills for efficient handling of materials and components.
  3. Count and use scales to verify quantities, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  4. Pull required components for assemblers based on work orders, following prescribed procedures.
  5. Adhere to "First In First Out" principles for inventory rotation.
  6. Create labels to identify products and ensure proper traceability.
  7. Place materials and components in designated locations to optimize workflow.
  8. Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  9. Utilize basic computer skills for data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
  10. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality to support production goals.
  11. Collaborate effectively with team members in a manufacturing and assembly setting.
  12. Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and handle objects above the head weighing up to 30 pounds.
  13. Adapt to sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods during the workday.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to read and understand work orders and instructions in a manufacturing and assembly environment.
  2. Excellent organizational skills for efficient handling of materials and components.
  3. Proficiency in counting and using scales to verify quantities accurately.
  4. Familiarity with "First In First Out" principles for inventory management.
  5. Basic computer skills for data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  7. Team-oriented mindset for effective collaboration in a manufacturing and assembly team.
  8. Physical strength and stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and handle objects above the head.
  9. Reliable attendance record and punctuality.
  10. Flexibility to adapt to sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods in a manufacturing and assembly environment.

Details:
  • 1st Shift – 7am to 330pm
  • Pay Rate. $19.00/hour
