Caregiver
Job Summary:
As a Caregiver with Right at Home El Dorado Hills, you will have the rewarding opportunity to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes throughout Citrus Heights, Orangevale, and surrounding communities. Our caregivers provide companionship, personal care, dementia support, transportation, meal preparation, and assistance with daily living to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and conversation to clients
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
Offer meal preparation and light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, linen changes
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
Offer dementia and Alzheimer's care
Observe and report changes in client condition
Maintain a safe and supportive home environment
Qualifications:
Compassionate and dependable
Comfortable assisting clients with personal care needs
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely when required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background screening
Strong communication skills
Professional or family caregiving experience preferred but not required
Current HCA registration or CNA certification welcomed
Must obtain and maintain California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration before client assignment
Must be at least 18 years old
Pay Range:
$19-$25/hour based on experience, certifications, availability, shift type, and client assignment.
