Your Role:
As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect precision-machined components to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with customer and industry requirements. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong machining inspection skills who wants to grow their quality career, with the potential to develop toward a Quality Manager role over the next 2–4 years.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional inspections of machined components, including verification to thousandths of an inch
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
- Use precision measuring equipment, gauges, and check fixtures to verify part conformance
- Perform first-article, in-process, and production-run inspections
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain required quality records
- Support compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous quality inspection experience in a precision machining or CNC manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong blueprint reading and dimensional inspection skills
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Experience working with tight tolerances and inspecting machined components
- Knowledge of GD&T, first-article inspection, and quality documentation preferred
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems strongly preferred

The base salary for this position is $21-$24 per hour excluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
