At Ellison Technologies, our purpose is to help manufacturers win—on their shop floors and in the global arena. We’re looking for a Precision CNC Systems Field Service Engineer to champion that mission across the Mississippi / Memphis markets.

What success looks like

• You become the trusted expert customers call for installations, repairs, and PMs on advanced CNC equipment.
• Diagnoses are fast and accurate—spanning mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems (including PLC/electrical troubleshooting).
• Operators leave confident after your training sessions, and sales benefits from your technical insights.
• Every visit ends with clean, complete documentation and a customer who feels supported.

Core responsibilities

• Perform field service, installations, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
• Represent Ellison professionally and ethically at all times.
• Own your cases and projects; maintain records and technical docs.
• Carry out related service duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Background installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
• Expertise across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strength in CNC machine repair, PLC troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and diagnostic workflows.

Machines you'll touch

• VMCs (3–4 axis and 5+ axis)
• CNC lathes (2–4 axis and 5+ axis)
• CNC Swiss lathes
