J&E Concessions / Lehigh Valley Ironpigs: CookThe Lehigh Valley Ironpigs strive to provide a positive and memorable experience for every guest every time.Job Requirements:Must be at least 16 years of ageWilling to work long hours and be able to stand, walk and bend for an extended amount of timeAbility to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasionCarry out instructions given by the Executive Chef or Stand ManagerUnderstand nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsTeam-oriented, adaptable, and dependableMust have the ability to multitaskAbility to work at a quick, yet efficient and at a thorough paceKnowledge of basic food handling procedures and experience with grilling and frying equipment is preferred.Job Responsibilities:All Cooks may be considered for cross-training in multiple locations of the ballpark at management's discretion. General responsibilities for all positions include but are not limited to:Assist in Game Day preparation of Kitchen per the Executive Chef or Stand Manager's instructionsSet up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies and inventory appropriatelyOperate and maintain all equipment properly while preparing guests food as orderedEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.Communicates ticket times and potential problems with the service staff, kitchen staff, and ManagersBreak down and clean stations dailyMaintain safe working conditions and sanitary work areaHelp with shut down and cleaning procedures of the cooking areas within the Kitchen or Concession Stands at the end of food serviceStaff Uniform:Ironpigs Staff Ball cap (provided)Ironpigs Staff T-Shirt (provided)Black pants (associates responsibility)Comfortable shoes; non-skid shoes highly recommended (associates responsibility)Job Type: Part-time SeasonalPay Compensation: Salary based on previous experienceLehigh Valley Ironpigs - J&E Baseball Concessions LLC is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
