My Little Team Texas in San Antonio, TX is looking for one infant teacher to join our 16 person strong team. We are looking for a caregiver that has childcare skills . is knowledge of classroom safety and first aid techniques. If you have the qualities of of adapting to changing conditions and can rapidly assess the needs of children in your care . Apply today! We are located on 15415 Applewhite Rd Ste 102. Responsibilities

  • Providing Early Childhood Education to children 6 weeks to approximately 20 months
  • Prepare lesson that meet educational requirements in an age appropriate manner,
  • Teach in a matter that meets the needs of each individual child ability
  • manage a busy classroom environment and provide the structure and discipline for successful learning environment for everyone in the class
  • Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities at all times
  • Keep records of children's progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents
  • Help children meed educational milestones
  • Conduct Infant and toddler Milestone Checklist
  • Provide helpful feedback to p[parents and guardians on a regular or as needed basis .
  • Assist in preparing food and serving meals
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment
  • Communicate with parents and staff thru procare

Qualifications

  • Experience in a child care setting is a must
  • Child Development Associates a plus
  • Ability to develop lesson plans that meet Texas Rising Star standards
  • Classroom Management Skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, bend and stand
  • Flexibility is a must
  • First Aid and CPR certified
  • 24 hour Pre-service training a must
  • 1 year of experience in working in a daycare
