Automotive Service Technician (Ford & Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram)

Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per flat-rate hour (based on experience and certifications)

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with Service Advisors to determine the scope of repairs and maintenance requested.
  • Perform thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and recommend needed maintenance or repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete repairs according to dealership and manufacturer specifications.
  • Notify the Service Advisor immediately if additional repairs are needed, repairs are unnecessary, or work cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Perform maintenance services including oil changes, fluid services, filter replacement, and lubrication.
  • Perform engine, transmission, coolant, brake, and power steering flushes.
  • Inspect and maintain all vehicle fluid levels.
  • Rotate tires, inspect tire condition, adjust tire pressure, and properly torque wheel lug nuts.
  • Safely operate and maintain shop equipment, including vehicle lifts.
  • Accurately document all repair orders, including complaint, cause, and correction, while following manufacturer time guides.
  • Participate in ongoing manufacturer and dealership training.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Previous automotive technician experience required
  • Ford and/or Stellantis (Mopar) certifications preferred, but not required
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Own tools preferred
