About the RoleWe are seeking Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to design, build, and scale cloud-native applications that power Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives — including design automation, design validation, and permit automation — and enterprise AI solutions such as Obi, a new-joiner onboarding concierge, and NOVA, an AI-powered workflow orchestration platform. This is a hands-on senior role based in Southern California and performed onsite from the client's office. You will work side by side with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to turn complex operational problems into reliable production software.
Key Responsibilities- Develop modern web applications, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Design and build cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud (GCP).
- Implement scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Support CI/CD, DevOps, and application-security best practices.
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into real business workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards.
- 8+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Practical AI experience — using AI across the SDLC, implementing RAG, and evaluating LLMs.
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- PostgreSQL with Drizzle and/or SQLAlchemy ORM.
- REST APIs and microservices; SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud (GCP) services.
- Git, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder; this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
- Experience building AI-enabled applications.
- Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, RAG, and Generative AI solutions.
- Experience with enterprise workflow automation and integrations.
- Familiarity with utility, engineering, construction, or permitting systems.
