Job Summary:

Florence Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, a premier provider of skilled nursing, therapy, and rehabilitation services, is seeking a talented Wound Care Nurse to join our dedicated team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care with a warm and welcoming approach, while working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and chronic wounds, including assessment, treatment, and education

• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

• Perform routine wound care duties, including dressing changes, debridement, and other treatments as necessary

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care coordination

• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and self-care practices

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment plans

Requirements:

• Current LPN or RN license in the state of Alabama

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and timely records

Additional Information:

• Saturday and Sunday availability, with flexible hours discussed during interview

• Shift differential starts at 3:00PM, with a rate of $3.75 per hour
