Director of Nursing

A well-established skilled nursing facility in New Jersey is looking for its next Director of Nursing (DON). They're looking for a Director of Nursing who can walk in, take ownership of the clinical operation, and lead from the floor — not from behind a desk.

Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting is required for this Director of Nursing role. If you're a Registered Nurse (RN) who has served as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a nursing home and you're ready for a place that will back you up and let you lead, this Director of Nursing position is worth a conversation.

• Lead and oversee all nursing operations for the facility

• Hire, develop, and retain a strong nursing team

• Ensure clinical quality, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance

• Work closely with the Administrator and ownership on facility goals

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active New Jersey license

• Prior nursing home experience is required — must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting

• Prior leadership experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
