Exterior Service TechnicianAmes / Central Iowa | Full-Time | Up to $25/hour Based on ExperienceBe the Person the Team Calls When Something Doesn't Look RightWaddle Exteriors is hiring an experienced Exterior Service Technician to handle residential repairs, service calls and troubleshooting across our Central Iowa market.This is not an entry-level labor position. We're looking for someone who understands how roofing and exterior systems work, can diagnose the source of a problem and knows how to make a quality repair.Your experience may come from roofing, siding, gutters, exterior remodeling or residential construction. What matters most is that you know the work and can solve problems in the field.What You'll DoDiagnose roof leaks, exterior damage and other service issuesComplete roofing repairs including shingles, flashing and related componentsPerform siding and gutter repairs as neededTroubleshoot problems and determine the right repair rather than simply treating the symptomHandle warranty and customer service workComplete smaller exterior repair projectsWork alongside Waddle's production and field teamsCommunicate clearly with customers and internal team members about what you findMaintain quality and safety standards on every jobWhat We're Looking ForStrong hands-on knowledge of residential roofing and exterior constructionPrevious roofing, siding, gutter, exterior remodeling or related construction experienceAbility to diagnose problems independently in the fieldComfortable working on ladders, roofs and outdoors in changing weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanshipDependable and able to manage service work without constant supervisionValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordSpanish/English bilingual skills are a plus, but not requiredPay & BenefitsUp to $25/hour based on experienceFull-time, year-round opportunityCompany vehicle provided for work during the dayMedical, dental and vision benefits401(k) with company matchCell phone reimbursementOpportunity to become a go-to technical resource within the field teamVehicle & TerritoryYou'll report to a Waddle company location to pick up your work vehicle each day and then travel to customer homes and job sites throughout the Ames, Des Moines and Central Iowa area.The company vehicle is for business use during the workday.Why This Role MattersOur service team needs someone who doesn't just know how to install a product, but understands why an exterior system is failing and how to fix it correctly.If you're an experienced exterior tradesperson who likes troubleshooting, working independently and being the person others rely on to solve difficult field problems, we'd like to talk with you.
