Job Description

Astura’s QC Inspector will perform various inspection techniques of medical devices. This position will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Job Responsibilities

· Mechanical measurements using; micrometer, caliper, comparator, misc. gauges.

· Visual inspection using finish gauges

· Functional inspection using hard gauges

· Documenting and processing of inspection data and documentation

Qualifications

· Understanding of measurement techniques and metrology: Caliper, Micrometer, Pin Gauges, Block Gauges, Optical Comparator

· Good arithmetic skills required

· GD&T experience is desired

· Detail oriented

· Organized

· Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office Products: Excel, Word

· Must have good English written and verbal communication skills

· Experience in medical devices or aerospace is desired

Education and Experience

· Minimum of 3 years in all job responsibilities listed above (proficiency test will be conducted)

· High School Diploma or equivalent

Wage

$23-$25/hr
