Positive Support Professional

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with a master’s degree in a behavioral science field who are looking to:

• Gain hands-on experience in 245D services
• Receive ongoing support and professional development
• Make a direct impact supporting individuals with behavioral and mental health needs

What you’ll do

• Provide 1:1 positive support services to individuals with behavioral needs
• Conduct functional assessments and help develop person-centered support plans
• Implement evidence-based strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress
• Train and collaborate with staff and caregivers
• Monitor and adjust support plans based on client outcomes
• Support clients in building coping skills and daily living skills

We are open to candidates who meet one or more of the following: a Master’s degree in:

• Behavioral Sciences or related fields
• Social Work (MSW)
• Psychology / Applied Behavior Analysis
• Counseling (LPCC track)
• Special Education

Experience or interest in:

• Behavioral support services
• Functional assessment and data collection
• Supporting individuals with mental health or developmental disabilities

Additional requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle if needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
