Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at Sands Point Center for Health & Rehabilitation, a premier healthcare facility located in the heart of Long Island. As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients, families, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting visitors, answering phone calls, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and supporting the overall operations of our facility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately

• Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival

• Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries

• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories

• Operates phone system

• Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

• Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting

• Ability to work per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using computer software and phone systems

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
