We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Psychiatrist to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Raleigh, NC — 24 hours per week.Your expertise will help individuals achieve stability, recovery, and independence in the community they call home.Your Role in Our Mission:As the ACT Team Psychiatrist, you will be a clinical leader providing essential psychiatric care for individuals with serious mental illness and substance use challenges. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver person‑centered, community‑based services that create lasting impact.

- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.
- Deliver outpatient psychotherapy in community settings.
- Utilize evidence-based and emerging best practices in psychiatric care.
- Ensure coordination between mental health, substance use, and primary healthcare services.
- Consult with primary care providers to support comprehensive health needs.
- Guide and support ACT team members in clinical decision‑making.
- Your work directly contributes to stability, recovery, and improved quality of life for those who need it most.

- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted NC license.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry (ASAM certification or eligibility preferred).
- 5+ years experience treating individuals with mental illness.

Expertise in treating serious mental illness, including:
- Schizophrenia.
- Schizoaffective Disorder.
- Bipolar I Disorder with Psychosis.
- A heart for community-based care and a commitment to recovery-centered practice are essential.
