Located in the heart of Greenville, Village Green Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a leading skilled nursing facility that provides compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. We are dedicated to fostering an environment of healing, respect, and dignity for each individual.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team and support the daily care and comfort of our residents.

Position Overview:

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence. Working closely with nursing staff, you’ll play an essential role in supporting residents’ overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Support mobility by helping residents walk, transfer, or use mobility aids

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration

  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment

  • Adhere to all infection control and safety procedures

  • Respect residents’ rights, privacy, and individual care preferences

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience in long-term care or personal care is a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care

  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions

  • Reliable, with good time management and attention to detail

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
