Optimum Therapies is a locally owned, therapist-led physical therapy practice dedicated to helping people move better, feel better, and live better. With multiple clinic locations across Wisconsin and North Dakota and a team of more than 90 employees, we are committed to providing exceptional care while creating a positive and supportive workplace for our staff. We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our Eau Claire clinic team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors or call our clinic.
What You'll Do A typical day may include:
• Greeting and communicating with patients to provide a positive, supportive experience
• Scheduling patient appointments and managing daily clinic flow
• Answering incoming phone calls from patients and physician offices
• Collecting insurance co-pays and private payments for services
• Entering and maintaining accurate patient information in our systems
• Verifying insurance eligibility, benefits, and prior authorization requirements prior to patient visits • Assisting with patient flow by preparing treatment areas, coordinating room availability, and supporting daily clinic operations
• Collaborating closely with therapists and support staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Representing Optimum Therapies in the community through occasional outreach events, health fairs, and marketing initiatives
Schedule & Work Environment
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Clinic hours range from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays

• Previous experience in a healthcare, administrative, customer service, or reception role is preferred. Familiarity with health insurance verification and prior authorization processes is a plus. • Someone who is looking to grow with our team and contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic culture.
Compensation & Benefits
• Starting wage of $18.00-$19.00 per hour based on experience
