About This Role
We're seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher who can provide a nurturing environment and inspiring education for young children. With a focus on best practices and preschool methods, our ideal candidate will be passionate about engaging children and helping them thrive. Their expertise will contribute to the healthy development of our students, preparing them for success in the next stage of their education.
What You'll Do
- Implement a comprehensive DAP program that fosters creativity and learning in young children
- Employ a range of educational techniques, including storytelling, inquiry-based play, and outdoor learning, to captivate and educate
- Observe and support each child to enhance their social skills and self-confidence
- Encourage positive interactions and a sense of equality among children
- Guide children in exploring their artistic and practical abilities through hands-on projects and activities
- Ensure a safe and secure environment during nap and snack times
- Monitor and report on children's progress to parents
- Maintain regular communication with parents to understand children's backgrounds and needs
- Collaborate with fellow educators to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
Requirements
- High School, CDA, or BSc/BA in education or relevant field
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Proven experience as a Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher
- Certification in child CPR
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
