ETTA (non-profit / Human Services)is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) // ILS Stafffor our adult client (with Intellectual and Developmental Disability)Job TitleDirect Support Professional (DSP)LocationBhatia Family VillagePico-Robertson Area (West L.A.)ScheduleMondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays1:30 p.m. to 3:30 or 4:00 p.m.*Note: This position can be combined with another part-time position at the same locationwith a different resident / client in order to increase weekly hours (optional).The other position is Mondays - Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.(In your application, let us know you are interested in both.)Requirements• Must have some professional or personal experience assisting or supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or other special needs• Must be a licensed driver (for a minimum of three years) with a clean driving record• Must have your own insured vehicle (with your name listed as an authorized driver)• Must be willing to drive male resident / client if needed in the Pico-Robertson Area and surrounding communityDescriptionSupporting a young man (in and around the Pico-Robertson Area) who wants help with independent living -- including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and budgeting. Participate in Village activities and explore employment opportunities in the area.
