Job Description
Landscape Technician – Join Our Grounds Maintenance Team
We are looking for a experienced, dependable Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our growing grounds maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on landscaping experience, strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of turf, plants, landscape beds, irrigation, and commercial landscaping equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns to a high standard
Maintain landscape beds, including weeding, edging, pruning, and cleanup
Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and ornamental plants
Identify plant health, turf, drainage, and irrigation issues
Troubleshoot and perform minor irrigation repairs, including sprinkler heads, leaks, and coverage problems
Perform lawn care services including fertilization, weed control, aeration, and overseeding
Remove leaves, debris, dead plant material, and landscape waste
Assist with seasonal landscape improvements and pressure washing
Safely operate commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping equipment
Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep trucks, trailers, and tools clean and organized
Safely load, haul, and unload landscaping equipment
Report property, irrigation, plant, or equipment issues to management
Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of professional landscaping or grounds maintenance experience required
Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment
Working knowledge of turf, shrubs, plants, pruning, and landscape bed maintenance
Basic irrigation knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
Experience hauling trailers and equipment
Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required

We are looking for someone who notices the details — weeds in beds, shrubs that need pruning, irrigation problems, dead or declining plants, debris around entrances, or areas that simply do not look their best.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the properties they maintain and understand that great landscaping is about more than mowing the grass. We want someone who takes pride in leaving every property looking noticeably better when the job is finished.
