Think Universal Banker / Personal Banker with an emphasis on member and loan growth. You'll proactively identify opportunities to deepen member relationships, grow deposits and consumer lending, and help new and existing members achieve their financial goals. You'll combine exceptional service with consultative sales skills, helping members discover products and services that genuinely meet their needs.This role will be based at our new Troutdale branch once it opens later this year. Prior to the Troutdale opening, training and onboarding may take place at our NE Portland location.Key ResponsibilitiesConsistently identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through thoughtful recommendations of lending, deposit, and digital banking solutionsProvide exceptional member service across in‑branch, phone, and digital channelsOpen new accounts and process account maintenance and member requestsInterview members for consumer loans, recommend options, and prepare loan documentsAssist members with online banking, ITMs, and other electronic servicesGenerate referrals for mortgage and home equity products based on member needWho Thrives in This RoleThis role is a great fit for someone who:Enjoys helping people improve their financial well-beingNaturally looks for ways to deepen member relationshipsHas experience discussing lending and deposit productsLikes balancing exceptional service with measurable business resultsTakes pride in growing membership, loans, and financial relationships through trusted adviceMinimum Qualifications3–5 years of experience in banking, credit union, or related financial servicesExperience opening accounts, cross-selling financial products, or originating/referring consumer loansDemonstrated success building member/client relationships and identifying opportunities to meet financial needs Comfortable discussing products and services and making recommendations based on member goals Strong service mindset combined with the ability to contribute to branch growth objectives Experience with consumer lending, new account opening, or branch sales goals preferred The successful candidate will bring both a strong service mindset and a proven ability to grow relationships through new accounts, consumer lending, and product referrals.
