Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor, Aftermarket, is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, supervising associates, and ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time. This third-shift role (Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM) involves coordinating schedules across all three shifts, maintaining training and certifications, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring customer requirements and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate brings strong supervisory experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and drive results in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure process achievements and promote a customer-centric culture throughout the organization.
  • Supervise associates.
  • Ensure all inbound shipments are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure all customer shipments are processed accurately and loaded within the allotted time window each day.
  • Create and maintain all applicable work instructions for the relevant areas.
  • Ensure all applicable areas receive proper training and that all certifications are maintained.
  • Assist with managing all applicable Logistics operations.
  • Create, monitor, and provide adequate training in applicable areas.
  • Ensure that all customer requirements and quality ratings are achieved.
  • Provide assistance with troubleshooting customer concerns.
  • Communicate any deviations from the applicable area plan to management.
  • Prioritize and communicate a schedule for all three shifts in the applicable area to ensure daily goals are met.
  • Monitor inventory levels in applicable areas to reduce and prevent waste.
  • Review and ensure appropriate manning is assigned in applicable areas.
  • Monitor and provide staffing support in applicable areas.
  • Ensure effective time management of applicable areas.
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise within applicable areas.
  • Assist with SAP issues.
  • Assist with all Inventory Control functions.
  • Function as an emergency First Responder per the WVSM Manual.
  • Coordinate special projects as assigned by management.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Overtime and/or travel as required.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, which include IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, and Safety-related policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Combination of post-secondary education and/or previous associated work experience commensurate with four years preferred.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and administration skills.
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Highly tactful and diplomatic with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of coping with stressful situations.
  • Effective time management of self and direct reports.
  • MS Office experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs. (51-75 lbs. with assistance), wearing safety shoes and hi-vis, and working around normal warehouse hazards.
