Kitchen & Line Team Member — 1817 Taqueria | $17–20/hour

1817 Taqueria on the University of Tennessee campus is hiring Kitchen and Line Team Members. Fast, fresh, made-to-order Mexican — good food, good pace, good crew.

What you'll do

• Prep ingredients: chopping, portioning, salsas, proteins, and daily prep lists
• Build orders on the line, quickly and accurately, to recipe and portion standards
• Cook on the flat top, fryer, and grill
• Keep the line stocked and rotated through the rush
• Clean as you go — stations, equipment, dish, and closing duties
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

What we're looking for

• Kitchen experience preferred, but we'll train the right person
• Someone who shows up on time and works clean
• Comfortable moving fast during a lunch rush and staying friendly doing it
• A team player who jumps in wherever the shift needs it
• Able to stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs

Pay & schedule

• $17–20/hour, based on experience
• Flexible scheduling — great for students, built around the campus calendar
