Manufacturing Line Supply Coordinator

Location: Romeoville | Department: Production | Reports to: Production Shift Supervisor

Why this role matters

When ingredients, packaging, and labels arrive to the line on time, quality stays high and schedules stay on track. You are the coordinator who keeps materials flowing, documentation accurate, and pallets ready for pickup—while upholding BRC Global Standard Food Safety Issue 9 and our GMP’s.

What you'll do
  • Set up sauce pump equipment and verify readiness.
  • Stage and replenish raw and dry materials; maintain minimum levels to prevent downtime.
  • Log material usage precisely; return items with correct weights and per food safety procedures.
  • Adhere to GMP’s; wear proper PPE (knit, cotton, or blue plastic gloves where applicable).
  • Choose sound wood pallets; do not step on pallets.
  • Verify correct label application and SKU.
  • Palletize per BOM; complete pallet tags (one affixed, one retained).
  • Apply shrink wrap four times at waist level; move pallets via pallet jack to pickup points.
  • Assist with changing labels and ribbons.
  • Pull broken pallets from circulation and set aside.
  • Keep the area clean and organized; notify the Line Lead any time you leave the line.
  • Follow Production/Packaging procedures; inspect the Mfg line for operational/mechanical issues; take action or notify supervision/management.
  • Support other departments as needed; maintain line speed and standards.
  • Safeguard product quality and consistency during processing; ensure food safety and legality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or volunteered.
Your training journey
  • Participate in a structured training program that outlines how training is delivered.
  • Meet exit criteria that verify your skills and comprehension through written, verbal, and/or hands-on demonstrations.
  • Apply these skills to ensure products meet company specifications.
Food safety & quality
  • Report any food safety or quality issues immediately to supervision and/or Quality Assurance.
  • Report any risks or signs of out-of-spec product, equipment, packaging, or raw materials to a designated manager for immediate attention.
  • Uphold the BRC Global Standard Food Safety Issue 9 at all times.
What you bring
  • Required: HS Diploma or GED.
  • Required: Three (3) years of related experience/training or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish.
